SYNOPSIS
to the rhythm of their lives, Assyria, documents the daily lives of families Majoreras immersed in farming activities on the island of Fuerteventura. A way of life based on deep knowledge of a particular territory arid. These wisdoms adaptive survive in a fragile scenario, where the traditional ways of life are drifting towards the fields of folklore or to new forms of economy such as construction and tourism.
Wrapped in a steady wind, people, landscapes and animals are actually a single cone. COMMENT
Guirre Following earlier productions, also shot in Fuerteventura, and Berrocal, fearful of the consequences of
fire that ravaged much of the province of Huelva, Daniel Lagares and his colleagues are back with a film full of humanity, where no can understand human beings without their interconnection with the natural environment. A role shared by men, women and animals that live together in an openly hostile space. Lagares
hits the camera (and microphone) in the middle of the lives of each other, to offer, with a magnificent picture, a portrait anthropological ways of life that can be almost incomprehensible. With a seemingly realistic aseptic life is drawing strokes that shape a collage to the rhythm of the seasons and animal life processes.
